Ding dong ding!

I can hear the chappel bells chime!
that means its time for another two months of tech work for, yes, yet another high school musical!
I'm so excited! I have been working on the set of "Into The woods" now for about a month. Its just now geting exciting again because we just started costumes and such, and we're almost done with some of our first few projects. A couple trees, a couple houses, a tower and a haunted tree. Soon I'll start lighting and this time I get to do all the lights by myself.
We've been looking for a full body wolf costume, and cow costume, and 12 feet of golden hair, and gold sparkly slippers, and tacky dresses with huge bows and ugly colors, and elegant dresses for princesses, we have to make almost all the mens outfits. (our princes are complete opposites as far as body type) and we need main character clothes still! ugh! so I spent most of today in the sewing wenche's room, putting together a lovley little red riding hood dress, and listening to Enya and Frank Sinatra. Its really bizzare how certain songs make your memory click and remind you of different things. I know there's a few songs that remind me of cleaning my house, and a few that remind me of painting walls, and still there's only one that can sum up everything I've ever experienced in theater.
see ya next time!
