Pick a little?

wow, this is amazing. Some people you will meet in life are just good souls. a lot of them aparently hang out in the theater. .. here's my story...
So at the end of Music Man, back in the day, after teh last night, all the pick a little old ladies had made little things for all the other pick-a-littles. some of the main parts made gifts like for the whole cast or the director, but it was nice to just be personally thanked by a fellow actress. I was pleasntly suprised with cards, flowers, the one i still have lying about, it this little fluff of yellow with pipe cleaner feet and a tiny straw hat that has a green feather sticking out of it, its a little teeny-tiny chick and its on a peice of foam that says something like "pick a little ladies-Music Man"
And this year, in the fall of 2005, DHS put on a production The Murder Room, which seems now that it has flown by with out phasing anything but it really did take a long time i assure you. the set was beautiful btw... and the acting ehh well, the set was awesome. lol but on opening night, my friend who's the main character had little bundles of saran-wrapped candy and it said something clever on it like "hope this show goes as sweetly as last night!" or something, well it was awesome. and i didnt get hungry that night (yay) then on the last night, i went upstiars to find on my light board, a mystery star, a foam, yellow-constructoin-paper - covered star that said "lights tech, murder room, 05" and i had this total flash back to my pick a little days. jsut goes to show that some people, no matter what theater, always look out for their show-mates.
